These terms govern your use of Coffeetable. By connecting or using the service, you agree to them.

The service

Coffeetable finds relevant passages in books and arranges them into short, Kindle-style readings inside ChatGPT and on shareable web pages. Coffeetable is intended for public-domain and otherwise permitted material. Availability is limited and a requested title may not be present.

Your account

You are responsible for activity under your account and for keeping sign-in credentials secure. Provide accurate account information and notify us if you believe your account has been compromised.

Shareable readings

A rendered reading may receive an unguessable public URL. Anyone with the URL can view its contents. You are responsible for deciding where and with whom to share it.

Permitted use

Use Coffeetable for personal reading, research, and other lawful purposes. Do not attempt to bypass access controls, scrape the catalog in bulk, interfere with the service, misuse another person's account, or use Coffeetable to distribute material in violation of applicable rights.

Book content

Book titles and text remain attributable to their authors, translators, publishers, or public-domain sources as applicable. Coffeetable's software, branding, and original interface elements belong to their respective owner. Nothing in these terms grants broader republication rights in book content.

Availability and changes

Coffeetable is provided as available. Features, catalogs, and hosted readings may change or be removed, and the service may occasionally be unavailable. We may suspend abusive or unsafe use.

Disclaimers and liability

Coffeetable does not guarantee that a reading is complete, error-free, or appropriate for a particular decision. To the extent permitted by law, Coffeetable is provided without warranties and the operator is not liable for indirect, incidental, or consequential losses arising from its use.
